The nose brings a gentle smokiness initially, then comes rock pools, seaweed and a BBQ’d meat style. On the palate, detect damp earth alongside dried peat, smoke from a winter fire and warming spices. The long and lingering finish reveals with mocha, salted caramel and more of that archetypal Islay peat smoke (CSL)
