We are thrilled to unveil the latest release in our specialist, super-premium series within the Xtra Old Particular brand – The XOP Black Series.
Packaged in a luxury gift box with gold foil detail, each bottling is drawn from single cask, proudly offered without colouring or chill-filtration and at natural cask strength. The individually-numbered bottle features a heavily-embossed, metallised logo, and each gift box contains an individual certificate, hand-signed by Fred and Cara Laing.
This expression is from the Macallan Distillery, and has silently slumbered in a Refill Hogshead since it was distilled in May 1989. Only 230 bottles are available globally at a Natural Cask Strength of 46.0%.

Muscovado Sugar, Drifts of smoke, Juicy Oranges & Marzipan
Nose Clean and unsullied before warming to barley (and barley sugar), some big hitting citrus, grapes and a big hint of Bourbon
Palate Oh-so-dulcet with muscovado sugar to the fore, and later marzipan, orange, cream and a drift of smoke
Finish Medium-long with all these flavours being neatly replicated at different stages (FHL)
